Day 1
U.S.A. -> Osaka (Japan)
Today board your transpacific flight to Osaka, second largest city in Japan.
Day 2
Osaka (D)
Upon arrival, meet and greet then transfer to hotel and dinner.

Day 3
Osaka Castle - Nara - Deer Park - Todaiji - Kobe - Sake Factory -
Osaka / Shinaibashi - Doutonbori (B/L)
Morning tour of Osaka Castle, then we will travel to the ancient city of Nara.
capital of Japan for 74 years. Visit the Deer Park, where friendly deer can
be hand-fed by visitors. Todaiji Temple is one of the oldest temple in Japan
and has the largest indoor bronze Buddha statue. After lunch, visit to a sake
factory to learn how sake is made, free tasting is available. Shinsaibashi is
the largest shopping area in Osaka. Then onto Doutonbori, a food place. A
great chance to taste different Japanese delicacies. Dinner on your own
expenses.

Day 4
Osaka - Kyoto - Kiyomizuyaki Pottery - Kiyomizu Temple - Nishijin Kimono Show - Yasaka Shrine - Kyoto Gion - Toyohashi (B/L/D)
Early morning, our drive takes us to the historic city of Kyoto. Visit Pottery Street, Kiyomizuyaki pottery is one of the 3 famous potteries in Japan. Yasaka Shrine is built with red lacquered square wooden pillars, and much respected by the locals. Kiyomizu Temple, one of the oldest in Japan, offers panoramic view of Kyoto. Nishijin Kimono was a favor of the Japanese nobility. A kimono show is presented here for us. The Gion district is a live entertainment, later evening, transit to Toyohashi. Dinner at Hotel. Hotel: Toyohashi Nikko Hotel or similar. |

Day 5
Toyohashi - Mt. Fuji - Hakone Park - Lake Ashi Cruising - Owakutani
Spa Valley - Peace Park (B/L/D)
This morning, bullet train ride to Hamamatsu is followed by a scenic
cruise on Lake Ashi. After lunch, visit to Owakudani Spa Valley, there is
a famous for its sulfurous spring water and longevity eggs cooked in hot
water. Next visit the Peace Garden which has a gold and platinum Goddess
of Mercy statue from India. This is the best spot for photos of Mt. Fuji.
Dinner is Japanese Hot Pot (bonus sushi boat or sushi buffet); afterward,
a chance to enjoy a relaxing hot spring soaks.

Day 6
Crystal Factory - The Mt. Fuji Observation Desk - Fuji 8 Seas -
Tokyo - Imperial Palace - Shiotome Panasonic Center - Ginza - Toys
Museum (B/D)
Today we have a good opportunity to visit a famous crystal factory, to
learn the secret of crystal. Next stop at the Mt. Fuji Observation Desk.
Fuji 8 seas, is 8 pools of crystal clear water gathered from Mt. Fuji's
melt snow. Mt. Fuji Look Out Tower affords wonderful views of Mt. Fuji.
Lunch at your own expenses, back to Tokyo visit to the Imperial Palace,
there is one of the most popular photo stops in Tokyo. Then visit to the
Shiotome Panasonic Center. Next stop at a great shopping area Ginza, and
Toys Museum is popular with adults and children. Dinner at the local
restaurant.

Day 7
Asakusa - Nakamise Shopping Arcade - Edoko Museum - U.S.A. or
selected Asian city (B/L)
Morning tour visit to Asakusa Temple, rebuilt in 1960, has a much
worshipped Buddha statue. Nakamise Shopping Arcade is great for
souvenirs. Then visit the Edoko Museum which displays old houses and
other artifacts from old Tokyo. After lunch, transfer to airport for
homebound flight or flight to a selected Asian city. |
